DAV Schools, formally known as Dayanand Anglo-Vedic (DAV) Schools, are a network of educational institutions in India that follow the educational philosophy of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, the founder of the Arya Samaj movement. The schools are managed by the DAV MANAGEMENT COUNCIL, NEW DELHI, which is one of the largest non-governmental educational organizations in India.

The schools follow the curriculum prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India. The curriculum includes a wide range of subjects, including sciences, arts, commerce, and vocational studies, along with physical education and extracurricular activities.
The executive body of DAV College Trust and Management Society established in New Delhi is the largest non-government education organization with about 750 educational institutions. It streamlines the school curriculum and administrative process, formulates the policies and plans, conducts day to day affairs of the society , controls the administration and finance and gives precise directions from time to time.
The Dayanand Anglo Vedic College Trust & Management Society was set up in 1885 under the Society’s Regulation Act, 1860 and it is now the premier non-government educational organisation covering a wide spectrum of educational activity in the country and abroad. The society is running more than 720 educational institutions which include 50 Graduate, Post-graduate and Professional Colleges, more than 500 public schools, 100 secondary schools besides Vocational, Engineering and Technical Institutions.

Deeply impressed by the excellent functioning of DAV Public School, a number of undertakings in private and public sectors have entrusted the task of establishing and managing public schools for the benefit of the wards of their employees to the DAV College, Trust and Management Society. The Society has since setup many such schools in collaboration with Anpara Thermal Project,the Associated Cement Companies, Bhakra Beas Management Board, Bharat Coking Coal Ltd., Central Coalfields Ltd., Mishra Dhata Nigam Ltd., Reliance Industries Ltd etc
